Safety
The political situation in Sri Lanka at the moment is a little unsettled and
unpredictable. We will be continuously assessing the situation from now until
volunteers return to the UK, through Sri Lankan and UK contacts who understand
the changing situation.
IC volunteers will be kept informed of the safety assessment throughout,
particularly before booking flights and before flying out to Sri Lanka.
If volunteers cannot work in Sri Lanka during the organized period for this
summer, then the trip will be kept on hold until a safe and suitable time.
